Waiheke Local Board have identified a community pool as one of its top 6 priorities for the Island.

Proposal was sent to the Ministry of Education seeking financial support. Auckland Council had agreed financial support of $1.6 million subject in part to “the pool committee obtaining financial support from the Ministry of Education”.
