What is Flippa Ball? It’s a version of Water Polo for people who only have access to a pool 1m deep. Which just so happens to be the people who use the Te Huruhi Community Pool!
When we found out about Flippa Ball we got very excited. We could see the potential for developing another sporting option on the island. Of course, we also realised that maybe not everyone is as excited as we are, so a trial seems in order and we’re offering it as part of our Holiday Programme –
from 1pm to 2.30pm on the 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th of April for only $32 for all four sessions. Bookings essential.
Update 13th April: The programme plan is changing to a drop-in format. Sessions will run at 1pm – on the 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th of April. Each session will be one hour.
No need to book – just come down.
So come and try it out! We’re recommending the Flippa Ball Easter 2019 Holiday Programme for children aged 11-14 years of age, but if you have a child close in age to this, who is also interested, please get in touch.
Participants should be able to swim a length (25m) of the pool without stopping.
Of course, it’s not just for children. Check out these Singaporean Seniors playing. Who knows? Maybe we’ll offer this, if the Holiday Programme works.
